I studied physical and analytical chemistry, but my life took a decisive turn when I worked as a political activist for the restoration of democracy in Nepal. During the Panchayat autocratic regime, I was imprisoned several times. I remained involved in socio-political activities under the Nepali Congress party for three decades.

I studied physical and analytical chemistry, but my life took a decisive turn when I worked as a political activist for the restoration of democracy in Nepal. During the Panchayat autocratic regime, I was imprisoned several times.
I remained involved in socio-political activities under the Nepali Congress party for three decades. Today, I stand as an independent politician — a moderate conservative, cultural nationalist, and compassionate capitalist — with special views on social security, land reform, development philosophy, and modern progressive capitalism.
These views never received real priority within the party. Although inspired by the late B.P. Koirala, I felt compelled to step away as I saw a derailment from the principal ideology. I now believe it is my duty to campaign for these ideas independently, for the nation.
